This Privacy Policy explains how Corey Benschop (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit coreybenschop.com (the “Site”), use the free Profitability Plan diagnostic, request information, or otherwise interact with my services.

By using the Site or submitting information to me, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit personal information.

1. Who this applies to

This Policy applies to visitors and users of the Site, people who complete diagnostic tools or forms on the Site, and people who communicate with me by email or other channels in connection with my services.

2. Information I collect

I may collect the following categories of information:

• Contact details — such as name, email address, business name, and other information you choose to provide.
• Diagnostic / form inputs — answers, notes, and other content you submit through tools such as the profitability plan questionnaire.
• Communications — messages you send me and related correspondence.
• Technical and usage data — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and similar analytics or log data.
• Local storage / cookies — information stored in your browser to remember progress, preferences, or prior completions of Site tools (for example, localStorage or cookies related to the diagnostic).

I do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to include it in a free-text field. Please do not submit sensitive personal, medical, financial account, or government ID information through Site forms unless I expressly ask for it.

3. How I use information

I use personal information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and related tools
• Generate personalized outputs (such as diagnostic results or plans) that you request
• Respond to inquiries and provide services you request
• Send follow-up messages related to a request you made (for example, delivering a plan by email)
• Communicate about services, scheduling, and related business matters when appropriate
• Monitor security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce my Terms of Service
• Analyze aggregate usage to improve content and offerings

4. AI-assisted processing

Some Site features may use third-party artificial intelligence or machine-learning services to process the information you submit (for example, questionnaire answers and notes) in order to generate a diagnostic result or plan. Those providers process data on my behalf under their terms and privacy practices. Do not submit information you are not comfortable having processed for that purpose.

5. How I share information

I may share personal information with:

• Service providers — such as hosting providers, email / CRM platforms, analytics providers, and AI processors that help me operate the Site and deliver services.
• Professional advisors — such as accountants or legal advisors, when needed.
• Authorities — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where permitted by law.

I do not sell your personal information for money. I do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws, except where a disclosure is required by law to describe a particular tool’s behavior, in which case you may have opt-out rights described below.

6. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to remember settings, keep diagnostic progress, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may limit Site features.

I retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by category and context.

I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

I may process and store information in the United States and other countries where I or my service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to such locations.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

I may need to confirm your identity before responding. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages, where provided. Transactional or service messages related to a request you made may still be sent when necessary.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or tools. I am not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
